My name is Wallace Payne and I am the owner of Comprehensive Working Dogs.  I offer over 22 years of dog training experience which has included all working breeds.  My span of training includes personal protection, schutzhund, national and international competition, AKC obedience, and pet obedience.

Myself, and my dog, Merlin von Conneforde, are the United Schutzhund Clubs of America’s 2004 and GSDCA-WDA’s 2006 National Schutzhund Champions.  Both events were won with a score of 294 points and we attained a perfect score of 100 points in protection at the GSDCA-WDA National Championship.  We represented the United States at the WUSV World Championship for three years in a row.

My training facility is located in Sharpsburg, Georgia featuring a 10 acre facility designed to train and work dogs to their fullest potential.  I offer training practically around the clock and welcome schutzhund enthusiasts to train.

Highlights of my career:

·      2007 North American FH Champion with 99 points off leash (click here for video)

·      Qualified for the WUSV team with four different German Shepherd Dogs since 1997

·      Highest scoring team member on the 1^st place United States Team at the 2006 WUSV World Championship

·      The first African American in the top five for two years in a row (2005 & 2006) at the prestigious WUSV World Championship

·      The first African American to show in a WUSV event in 1997, Lucern, Switzerland

·      The first African American to be on the WUSV podium (3^rd place in 2006, Randers, Denmark)

·      The second highest score in the USA National Championship in 2004 with 294 points overall

·      The highest score in the GSDCA-WDA National Championship in 2006 with a perfect score of 100 points in protection and 294 points overall

·      I have coached several other competitors to reach their goals including FCI & WUSV teams

·      I have conducted schutzhund seminars nationally and internationally
